I went to a Schoolism talk in London about 2 weeks a go now, it was on character design and it gave me some useful advice. I think the main thing that I need to work on with my characters is poses ad giving them life. Like most of the work I produce the stance is usually hands on hips etc. So I decided to try lots of new stuff, These are the roughs of poses that I am block colouring at the moment, some of these are more rough than others, and I have added the progress of the pose (as in rough not so rough). I still need to push my poses a lot, as some of these are still hands on hips - but its a learning curve :)
